What youll do Provide high-quality, patient-centred care to women, including conducting assessments, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and managing both obstetric and gynaecological cases under the supervision of senior medical staff. Assist in a range of gynaecological and obstetric surgeries, including emergency and elective procedures, while gaining hands-on experience in surgical techniques and patient management during the perioperative period. Participate in on-call shifts, providing immediate care in emergency obstetric and gynaecological situations, such as labour and delivery, obstetric complications, and gynaecological emergencies. Work closely with consultants, midwives, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, attend ward rounds, and contribute to case discussions, promoting teamwork and communication across the department.
