Job overview
The Programme Manager is a senior role within the Trust and is responsible for the strategic development of the Lung Cancer Screening Programme in the Black Country.
The role of the Programme Manager is key in providing leadership and guidance to deliver transformational and contractual changes within the service.
Main duties of the job
1. Strategic Development: to support the Clinical Director of programme in developing the strategic direction of the Lung Cancer Screening. Working closely with NHS England and local stakeholders.
2. Programme Design and Delivery: lead programme design, business case development and complex programme of transformational change, with accountability for financial and non-financial delivery.
3. Programme Management: lead rigorous and robust programme management, planning, reporting, managing risk, and a strong focus on benefits realisation. Reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.
4. People Management: develop and lead a high performing core team.
5. Partnership Working: effective relationship management and engagement with the Trust executives, and senior clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. Developing strong and credible network relationships with partner organisations including regulators.

* Degree or equivalent knowledge through experience
* Masters level qualification or equivalent experience in related subject or able to demonstrate ability to work to Masters level
