Job Description:

As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the performance of the New Business Development Team to ensure they meet sales targets in line with the company’s business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
2. Co-create, agree, and achieve sales Budgets and targets for team and individuals.
3. Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance.
4. Work with existing management team to ensure successful implementation of new logos.
5. Research and identify growth opportunities.
6. Build and grow solid relationships with leading trade bodies.
7. Identify prospect needs and requirements.
8. Create and execute a strategic sales plan and sales campaigns that expands customer base and extends our reach.
9. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
10. Oversee the New Business sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are exceeded by holding regular meetings, setting objectives and monitoring progress regularly.
11. Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a team of New Business sales people.
12. Evaluate performance and productivity of your team.
13. Continuously develop the team ensuring they are using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
14. Generate leads, build and nurture client relationships through client meetings to help build long lasting relationships by understanding their needs.
15. Deliver an agreed personal annual sales target. Lead sales process with SME prospects.
16. Willingness to gain a deep understanding of the hire industry as well as the solutions we provide.
17. Provide prospective clients with face-to-face or online demonstrations of key core products offered by inspHire.
18. Provide a consultative sales approach that may require more than one meeting with the prospect ensuring that all key objectives are met during the meeting.
19. Work with the Telemarketing Team to cultivate and improve lead generation.
20. Help manage and implement best practices for our internal system such as Hubspot and contract management tools.
21. Work alongside our overseas offices assisting with opportunities/requests as needed.
22. Ensure all agreed monthly reporting is delivered promptly to stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
1. Demonstrable experience of managing new business sales teams.
2. Creating and implementing a sales plan.
3. Meeting sales goals by monitoring progress.
4. Lead sales process and provide presentations, chair meetings and possess sales closing skills.
5. Management and leadership skills.
6. Mentoring and coaching salespeople.
7. Generating reports and giving presentations.
8. Strong commercial awareness in all areas.
9. Demonstrable experience of working in a software solution sales environment.
10. Technical understanding from an application and technology perspective.
11. Demonstrable success in a similar or related role.
12. Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
13. Self-motivated & proactive in approach.
14. A valid UK Driving Licence with a suitable car for business use.
15. Knowledge of ERP or business IT systems.
16. Understanding of the Rental Industry.
17. Appreciation/experience of products and services in the inspHire offering.
