Closing date: 08 December 2024 Recruitment Partner: Matt Haywood - matt.haywoodboots.co.uk About the role As the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will own the improvement agenda for Commercial Operations. Working cross-functionally, you will determine a pipeline of opportunities to streamline, automate and make our processes simpler. Along with the owners of the processes, you will scope, develop and deliver more efficient end to end processes that underpin our growth and make things simpler for stores. Working within the Commercial Operations team, you will work with Business Processes owners across multiple functions, as well as third parties to identify, scope and deliver process improvements. Through this, we will modernise and reduce process inefficiencies, supporting our growth plans as well as making operations simpler for our central teams and stores. Key responsibilities Develop and lead the delivery of a pipeline of agreed projects acting as business lead on to-be process design and working with relevant SME’s to ensure benefit delivery, where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts Seek out and replicate best practice to deliver change at pace, identifying and utilising external frames of reference. Work across the business in partnership & collaboration at all times to a clear, ‘signed-off’ brief. Positively influence strategic decisions. Recommend a case for change in both tactical and strategic process improvement opportunities. Optimise processes by re-designing, improving and delivering value through time or cost savings or profit improvements What you’ll need to have You will ideally have a deep understanding of the current end to end process area within commercial / operations. You will be open to change and willing to challenge the status quo, both within the wider team and functional teams. Existing experience of process re-design and simplification Excellent communication skills and able to articulate findings in business language.
