Position Description
Position Summary: Fall 2025 – EDSP 385: Communication Disorders
Tuesdays, 6:15 pm – 9:15 pm
A 3 credit course that is designed to acquaint students with the fields of speech language pathology and audiology. They will discuss the range of communication processes as well as common communication disorders that affect these processes across the lifespan. Special emphasis will be given to what speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists do to facilitate communication in individuals with communication impairments including family interventions and direct interventions.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare lesson plans, quizzes, tests.
2. Teach course material.
3. Provide feedback and grades throughout the semester.
Qualifications:
1. Professional expertise.
2. Relevant graduate degree required.
3. Teaching experience preferred.
4. Commitment to excellence in teaching in a Christian Liberal Arts setting.
Starting Date for Position: Fall 2025 Semester
Compensation: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
