The Company:
Due to continued expansion, my client situated in Bollington, Cheshire is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to add to their growing Engineering Team.
Shift Pattern:
* Week 1: Mon-Thu Day shift 6am-6pm (4 x 12 hours)
* Week 2: Wed-Fri Night shift 6pm-6am (3 x 12 hours)
* Week 3: Mon-Tue Night shift 6pm-6am & Fri Day shift 6am-6pm (3 x 12 hours)
Role Overview:
The role will involve working on old and new machines completing reactive and planned maintenance in a great working environment with a strong company culture.

You will be part of an enthusiastic Engineering team whose purpose is to respond to breakdowns and maintain site-wide electrical systems to minimize engineering downtime, while also providing continuous improvement support.
You will be detail-driven, focused through CMMS on maintaining and improving a wide variety of machinery from state-of-the-art coating machines down to slitting and sheeting machines.
You should be reliable, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to tackle and resolve issues as they arise. You will also be expected to contribute via audits and activities to continuous improvement, with an attention to workplace organization that underpins our 5S standards.
Experience:
Experience in the paper coating and converting industry is preferred but certainly not essential as training will be given. Mechanical qualifications are essential/time served.
Further Desirables:
Tig welding, pipe fitting, boiler, strip pumps, fabrication & machining.
