ABOUT OUR OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Workpack Coordinator with a mechanical background to support the newly established Centralised TAR (turnaround) Team. The successful applicant will report to the TAR Lead and provide engineering expertise and technical support to the TAR team.
Key accountabilities
* Provide construction engineering input and expertise to ensure the shutdown (TAR) is delivered safely & on time.
* Accountable for the preparation, quality, and delivery of all information required for their allocated TAR workpacks within the agreed milestones.
* Prepare job sketches (or drawings if possible) that clearly identify the scope and materials, incorporating any specific field construction instructions.
* Ensure all inspection and operations requirements including agreed isolations are incorporated.
* Prepare detailed and clear SIP (scaffold, insulation or painting) requests.
* Prepare correct and accurate bills of material (BoM) that check against approved pipe and/or valve specifications.
* Prepare the Job breakdown identifying all 3rd party requirements and resource hours using agreed norms or estimates.
* Identify any long lead or special items to the appropriate TAR discipline engineer for approval.
* During the TAR preparations phase, take a leading role in developing construction methodologies and schedules.
* Look for opportunities to maximise pre-TAR works or alternative rationale for performing works outside of a TAR.
* Communicate and agree these plans with the appointed TAR contractors through to execution.

ABOUT YOU
You should:
* Have trade qualifications or equivalent in a Mechanical discipline.
* Have relevant TAR/Shutdown experience in a similar role.
* Have experience in Construction Supervision.
* Be able to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams, bill of materials, GA’s, and isometrics.
* Have experience of working within multi-disciplined engineering teams.
* Be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
* Have experience using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
You may also:
* Have knowledge of INEOS pipe and valve specs, including an understanding of petrochemical process hazard and risk assessment.
