The Role
The Shade Pre-School is looking to appoint an inspiring and highly driven Early Years Practitioner to start January 2025. You will need to be experienced at working with young children and will have a passion for this stage of learning.

We nurture children to ensure they are happy to learn and have emotional awareness within our school family through a safe and secure environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our school’s principles and ensuring our pupils feel supported and valued.

17 hours and 45 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 12:00, with an additional hour for planning every Tuesday. Term time only.
Salary range: £9,452 - £9,610 (Based on fte £23,500 - £23,893, dependent upon qualifications, skills, and experience).

Qualifications
1. Child Protection Training - Desirable
2. GCSE Maths Grade 4 or above (including equivalent grades) - Essential
3. GCSE English Grade 4 or above (including equivalent grades) - Essential
4. Evidence of continued professional development - Desirable
5. First Aid Qualification - Desirable
6. NVQ Childcare Qualification - Desirable
7. Level 3 childcare qualification - Desirable
