Job summary Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking a dedicated and experienced Integrated Sexual Health Nurse/Advisor to join our team at King's Mill Hospital on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will support and deputise for the matron as required, ensuring all aspects of the service are fully supported and maintained. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the matron and senior team members to provide expert knowledge and skills in contraception, sexual health, and health advising. Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' contraceptive and sexual health needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating personalised care programmes. Empower service users to make informed decisions about their contraception and sexual health needs. Support the provision of training and health promotion programmes for the nursing team, SEXions, and Outreach, ensuring consistency in training resources and service user information. Provide leadership and motivation to establish evidence-based clinical practices, setting standards and conducting regular audits in line with the Trust's commitment to clinical governance.
