Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Nurse to join the busy forward thinking Maxillofacial Department at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board for 22.5 hours per week. Experience of caring for Maxillofacial patients is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided, encouraged and supported for the successful candidate. It is essential that the successful candidate is a team player who has excellent communication skills, and has the desire to continuously learn and be motivated to progress. The position will be based at the Prince Charles Hospital, however, the successful candidate will be required to work across all sites as and when required in accordance with the needs of the service. Main duties of the job The post is that of Staff Nurse and the post holder will be expected to undertake duties in the Maxillofacial Outpatient Department in either Royal Glamorgan Hospital or Prince Charles Hospital (Base). They will carry out a range of assigned tasks involving direct and indirect care for the benefit of the patient/client in accordance with agreed protocols. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed, and meet Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB requirements, as well as NMC Standards and Codes of Conduct.
