About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Drama and Music Teacher to join our team at Luxborough Court School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Salary: Up to £62,771 per annum + excellent benefits package
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Drama and Music to students aged 5-19, creating engaging lesson plans, and providing individualized support to meet the needs of each student. You will work closely with our experienced team of teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure our students receive the best possible education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Drama and Music lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
* Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and extracurricular activities

About Us
Luxborough Court School is a purpose-built school registered for 150 pupils aged 5 – 19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a large sports hall, bespoke 6th form suite, and extensive outdoor spaces. Located near Chigwell Station, we offer easy access to Central London and Essex.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Drama and Music to students with ASD and SEMH needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Possess a 'can do' attitude and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
