Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with a long-established, successful family-run business in South Lincolnshire to recruit a Company Accountant. Your new role This newly created role will see you taking responsibility for a wide range of accounting tasks including the preparation of the monthly management accounts and presentation to the senior leadership team, VAT, quarterly and year-end accounts, payroll, credit control and cashflow forecasting, as well as supporting the team with the bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and general ledger/journal entries as required. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACMA or ACA) or have relevant experience at Accountant level. You will have experience of working in a busy, commercial SME, used to taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks from bookkeeping to year-end. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to present monthly figures to the board. You will have strong IT skills, including Excel. You will be living in close a commute to the Lincolnshire area as the role is office based.
