My client is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the smooth operation of their buildings, car parks, and external areas. You'll lead maintenance efforts across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems while supervising a multi-disciplined team, including contractors and service providers.

What you will do:
1. Undertake maintenance and event-related works at the company's premises, including other buildings belonging to the company, car parks, and external land.
2. Undertake the installation, fault finding, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment to comply with current IEE Regulations.
3. Supervise the day-to-day activities of a multi-disciplined FM team, contractors, and service providers.
4. Manage hygiene, control of legionella, and waste disposal services.
5. Complete tests and inspections in accordance with the relevant test and inspection schedules required under the terms and conditions of the Safety Certificate and Premises Licence.
6. Plan and supervise planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, life safety systems, structure, and building fabric.
7. Supervise service providers undertaking annual tests and inspections required under the Safety Certificate and Premises Licence.
8. Respond to MEP breakdowns and damage.
9. Act as a 24/7 first responder to emergency call outs.
10. Plan and undertake routine maintenance and preparatory works.
11. Ensure the company's health and safety policy's safe systems of work are implemented.
12. Ensure service providers undertake their work activities in accordance with the agreed scope of service and in keeping with their risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
What you will bring:
1. Must hold a relevant qualification/certification in Electrical Installations and have hands-on experience in this area.
2. Proven experience in the supervision of a multi-disciplined facilities management team and service providers, preferably in a publicly accessible building.
3. Experience working as a qualified electrician.
