Job Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:
* Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
* Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Reconcile bank statements
* Collaborate with the accounting team to execute financial tasks
* Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulations
* Perform other accounting duties and support team members as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
* A strong understanding of accounting principles
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and time management skills
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
