As the Country Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful sales generation in Sub-Saharan Africa for NOV Elmar. Your success in this position will hinge on your ability to cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers, identifying opportunities that will contribute to the expansion of NOV Elmar's market share. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Europe/Africa and CIS, you will be based in the Kintore office, but international travel will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to establish and promote a distinct brand identity for NOV Elmar.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive sales and aftermarket strategy across all NOV Elmar product lines in country responsibilities.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to showcase our capabilities and enhance brand visibility.
* Identify all operators in the country and communicate with all key stakeholders.
* Continuously gather, analyse, and report market intelligence to gain a competitive edge.
* Nurture existing client relationships and leverage them to identify new prospects and business opportunities.
* Coordinate the efforts of the Sales and Aftersales functions within the assigned countries to deliver sustained profitable business performance.
We are seeking a candidate with a robust background in Sales and Business Development within the oil and gas industry. A comprehension of wireline products for both Slickline and Electric Line applications, along with expertise in flow control systems, would be highly beneficial. We prioritise candidates who can demonstrate a track record as a proven deal closer, possessing exceptional skills in sales, sales management, and marketing. Additionally, hands-on experience with the products is considered highly desirable.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:
* Proven experience in Sales and Business Development within the oil and gas industry.
* Strong skills in sales management, marketing, and relationship-building.
* Exceptional deal-closing abilities, with a demonstrated track record of sales success.
* Ability to travel internationally as part of the role.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of wireline products, particularly Slickline and Electric Line applications.
* Expertise in flow control systems.
* Hands-on experience with the products and services offered by NOV Elmar.
