We are recruiting for a Store Person to manage the stores operation within the maintenance department for a leader in the petrochemical industry. Based in Wilton, this is a hands-on Store Person role ensuring stock accuracy, timely replenishment of consumables, and effective supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform stock checks and maintain accurate records using the company’s IT system
Manage goods inwards and ensure correct deliveries
Order spare parts and consumables to maintain stock levels
Work closely with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
Maintain health and safety standards within the stores environment
Deliver and collect materials using company transport as needed Requirements:
Previous experience as a Store Person, Warehouse Operative, or in a stock control role within an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing setting
IT proficiency to manage stock via an electronic stores system
Strong organisation, attention to detail, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Valid FLT licence is required
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol test This is a temporary opportunity expected to last 2-3 months, ideal for a Store Person looking to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
