Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
We have an exciting opportunity for those looking to play a key part in HSBC’s ambition to be the number one bank for international customers. This role will allow you to lead in international customer development and growth, building relationships in communities and with centres of influence (e.g., visa agencies, Expat associations) across multiple local markets.

In this role you will:
* Be fully conversant with the international proposition both in the UK and Globally.
* Build long term business to business (B2B) relationships with ‘key’ contacts within the communities in which you look after, building a strong network both externally and internally.
* Seek opportunities to create acquisition partnerships with centres of influence e.g., visa agencies, relocation companies, expat associations.
* Identify opportunities for external engagement, to plan and deliver pop ups/stands/clinics at third party/industry/community events and corporate offices.
* Lead and/or present at events organised by the International Desk team.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* A working knowledge of the global mobility industry with experience working in a customer facing role is preferred.
* Experience of networking and business development in a B2B (business to business) environment is required.
* Experience and knowledge of the unique needs and challenges of international customers is desirable.
* A track record in effective relationship management would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of HSBC’s international proposition is desirable.
* Experience of integrating in a multi-cultural environment is desirable.
This is a full-time, hybrid position and is based in Birmingham. There will be a requirement to attend external events on an ad hoc basis.
