Performance Account Manager
Location: UK, London
Length: 6 months
Rate: £27.88 p/h (Inside IR35)
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Performance Account Manager will play a key role in executing tasks within the scope of larger projects, helping to evaluate business needs and challenges. You will assist in identifying opportunities for marketing, sales, distribution, and business expansion. This position requires working collaboratively with various teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Support, to execute market strategies and drive new customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Task Execution:
Execute tasks under the guidance of a manager within the framework of larger projects.
Evaluate business needs and challenges to identify opportunities for marketing, sales, and business expansion.
Develop project plans, and identify tasks, dependencies, and next steps based on team and organizational context.
2. Communication & Reporting:
Craft clear, fact-based oral and written communications for stakeholders, presenting analytical findings in a cohesive story.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and clarify sales, business, or product-related questions.
Interpret and communicate insights from deep data analysis, offering strategic and tactical recommendations to stakeholders.
3. Strategic Support:
Assist in refining product or sales strategies based on stakeholder feedback.
Work cross-functionally with teams to operationalize product or sales strategies.
Support sales, marketing, and product teams in executing market strategies for pipeline generation and new customer acquisition.
4. Collaboration & Partnership:
Work collaboratively in a team setting, sharing knowledge on timelines, progress, and emerging issues.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across various functions (Sales, Product, Finance) to influence business solutions.
Support strategic initiatives and processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing expectations.
5. Efficiency & Process Improvement:
Identify operational efficiencies by combining process optimization and technology.
Continuously learn from mistakes and explore new approaches to problem-solving.
6. Market & Product Knowledge:
Develop a foundational understanding of market-specific nuances and decision-making principles.
Acquire knowledge of structure, tools, and processes.
Build awareness in the targeted business community and its products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Customer Research:
Strong knowledge of customer organizations, industries, competition, and end-customers.
2. Data-Driven Analysis:
Experience in analysing and reporting on technical and financial data.
Ability to use data to differentiate and position our client’s products, services, and solutions effectively.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across teams and functions.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop working relationships outside your immediate team.
4. Sales & Business Strategy:
Understanding of sales processes and the ability to operationalize sales and product strategies.
Ability to communicate data-driven insights and influence decision-making.
5. Project Management:
Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks under guidance, prioritizing effectively.
6. Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with tools, processes, and systems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in sales, marketing, or a related field.
* Familiarity with sales operations and analytics tools.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
* 5 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting or media.
* Experience in Paid Search, Display, Video, and other digital media channels.
