Your duties To be the first point of contact for clients and the general public both on the telephone and in person. Demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression to promote the Practice and give confidence to our clients. Booking, cancelling and changing appointments. Receiving cash and card payments. Handle insurance claims and queries. Deal with cash exchanges and end of day banking procedures. Attend reception team meetings as and when required Dispense medications / prescriptions. Keep client and patient records up to date. Check clinic emails and process appropriately. Ensure all daily paperwork completed (lab reports, consemt forms, vaccination paperwork etc). More About You The ideal candidate must demonstrate clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written, and provide examples of personal contributions to exceptional customer service. A strong customer service orientation and commitment to fostering team culture are essential, along with the ability to work independently and stay self-motivated. The candidate should maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude, exhibit excellent organizational and administrative skills, and possess strong time management and attention to detail. They must also be dedicated to accurate documentation and recording of critical information, handle difficult situations tactfully, and prioritize a healthy work/life balance. Competency in Microsoft Office applications is required, and the ability to be adaptable and cover other reception shifts is preferred. Your shift pattern This is a part-time role working 29 hours per week across; Monday 10am -7pm, Tuesday 08:30am-5:30pm, Wednesday off, Thursday Off, Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 9am-2pm.
