TSRN (The Sales Recruitment Network) are recruiting for an Infrastructure and Support Specialist to work in Wembley. This is a six-month to twelve-month contract, with the possibility of going permanent.
2nd Line Activities:
1. Support & Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktop environment
2. Support & Troubleshoot MS Office
3. Windows 11 Migration deployment
4. Backup and Recovery of files and folders, using Veritas and Veeam
5. Hardware/software procurement using global portals and local suppliers
6. Managing logon scripts
Technical Skills Required for 3rd Line IT Support Engineer:
* Installing, supporting, managing, and troubleshooting Windows Server (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, File Services, Group Policy management, RDS, IIS, server hardware troubleshooting) - Versions 2016/2019/2022
* Installing, supporting, managing, and troubleshooting Storage: NAS/SAN (Netapp/EMC/HP), Hyper-convergence, Virtual SAN (desirable)
* Install, configure and troubleshoot Networking (VOIP - Mitel, DECT Telephony, VLAN, VPN Clients, Cisco, Firewall (desirable)
* Installing, supporting, managing, and troubleshooting Virtualisation VMWare/HyperV platforms experience
* Cyber Security awareness and remediation skills
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining MS SQL Server
* PowerShell scripting (desirable)
* Understanding of automation tools such as infrastructure as code – Ansible (desirable)
* Experience with automation of IT tasks
* Understanding of transfer protocols (sFTP, FTPS, etc.)
* Understanding of the backup and recovery process of servers
* Basic knowledge of Linux systems (desirable)
* Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI (desirable)
Qualifications (Preferable, Not Essential):
* CompTIA-A+, N+
* Microsoft Associate Level (Infrastructure or Cloud technologies)
* Computer Science or relevant degree
* ITIL
