Due to exciting growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Shift Manager. You will play an integral role in the efficient day to day operations of the dept; you will manage a team and be responsible for coaching, training, and motivating.
In this position you will have the opportunity to use your people management experience to drive our business forward ensuring all associated costs, KPI’s and future growth requirements are well managed. Your enthusiasm for supporting your team will be infectious, but your ability to put your customers at the heart of every decision will be the real key to your success.

Shift Pattern: Any 5 in 7
Hours: Between 07:00am - 22:00pm
Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 Per Annum (dependant upon experience)

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Assist in the planning and forecast staff requirements including rota management and annual leave planning
Manage and motivate the team to meet customer timescales and improved productivity.
Maintain quality standards.
Ensure the labelling, sortation and warehouse team productivity targets are achieved.
Provide ‘hand over report’ to oncoming Shift Manager
Ensure inductions are carried out for all new staff.
Provide training to all staff and contractors to ensure they can undertake their duties effectively, efficiently and safely.
Ensure all staff have completed the necessary Health & Safety training.
WHAT YOU NEED
Hold a full UK driving license
Must have management experience (minimum of 3 years+ experience)
Relevant working experience within Distribution or Logistics (2 years+ experience)
Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.
Knowledge of H&S legislation
Good PC skills
