Job Title: Taproom General Manager

Our Taproom is the heart of our customer experience, offering a welcoming environment for beer lovers to enjoy our range of craft beers alongside carefully selected wines and spirits. We are looking for a dynamic Taproom General Manager to lead our team and drive excellence in service, events, and operations.
Role Overview:
As Taproom General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Taproom’s day-to-day operations, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and driving business growth through effective team leadership and innovative events. You will have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar management role, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering engaging customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
Plan and execute a diverse calendar of events, from beer tastings to live entertainment, ensuring strong attendance and a great atmosphere.
Maintain excellent product knowledge across beers, wines, and spirits, ensuring staff are well-trained and knowledgeable.
Ensure all aspects of the Taproom comply with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Monitor stock levels, manage supplier relationships, and oversee ordering processes to maintain efficient operations.
Create and maintain an inviting, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors.
Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.
Manage staffing schedules, recruitment, training, and performance development to build a strong and enthusiastic team.
Requirements: Minimum of two years’ experience in a General Manager or similar leadership role within a hospitality setting.
Strong experience in leading and managing high-performing teams.
Excellent knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, with a passion for craft beer.
A proactive and hands-on approach with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Experience in planning and executing events that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets, stock control, and operational costs.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Personal Licence Holder (preferred but not essential, willingness to obtain required).
