Your role will be to support 1 young man with autism in his own home, to achieve his objectives and deliver complex support within the community in a 24hr supported living setting. As a Support Worker, you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support people to achieve their own personal goals, living the life they choose.
Supporting people to access the community for a variety of activities, day-to-day living, and wellbeing is essential. The right applicant will enjoy an active day, including swimming, cycling, cinema, sailing, spending time in the garden & sourcing new and exciting activities. You will also play an important role with families, supporting people to maintain good relationships. If you are caring, committed, and compassionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you. Full training will be provided; induction and shadowing is paid time. This role involves working weekends and paid sleep-ins on a rota system.
