Deputy Manager – Supported Living Services
Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are offering a rewarding opportunity for a Service Manager to join a dedicated team providing exceptional care and support in Bridgwater, Somerset. As the Service Manager, you will work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee a team of staff, providing ongoing support, guidance, and direction. You will be empowered to lead the team in delivering person-centred care while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and achieving positive outcomes for those we support. These services provide care for adults with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and other complex needs, across a variety of supported living environments. This position is ideal for an experienced Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or Service Leader looking to take the next step in their career in a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of supported living services across Bridgwater.
2. Work closely with individuals with a variety of complex care needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
3. Lead, supervise, and develop a staff team, providing coaching, guidance, and support.
4. Ensure compliance with care standards and regulations, while focusing on positive outcomes for those supported.
5. Provide operational and strategic support, maintaining effective communication with both the team and external stakeholders.
6. Stay calm under pressure, demonstrating adaptability and a problem-solving mindset.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Ideally proven experience in managing or supervising supported living or residential care services.
2. Experience working with adults with mental health issues, learning disabilities, or other complex care needs.
3. A strong commitment to delivering exceptional care with empathy and compassion.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing a team.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead by example and foster a positive, supportive environment.
6. Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure, with strong operational skills.
