The University of Bath is committed to an ambitious action plan to continually improve our research culture.
As Project Coordinator, you'll be right at the heart of supporting change - planning, supporting and evaluating key projects within the new Research Culture Action Plan to ensure they deliver on time, to budget, and realise their planned benefits. You'll also take responsibility for getting some quick, but impactful projects over the line.
You could be involved in gathering data about workloads, commissioning short research projects into elements of our culture, or helping to collate evidence to support new approaches on responsible research assessment.
You will:
* have experience coordinating, delivering and evaluating projects
* be adept at supporting/managing projects involving multiple stakeholders to successful completion
* be able to inspire/influence others
* have a strategic eye, but like getting stuck into delivery
* be motivated by the idea of making a positive difference to the culture that our research-related staff and students experience
* be interested in the details, capturing the important nuances that could make a difference in a project's success
* have an insight into higher education or research-related environments in other sectors.
Further information:
The role is full-time (36.5 hours per week) which could be available as a job-share and/or support flexible working. There is a slight preference for one in-person day on Monday/ Tuesday to align with the project lead.
This is a fixed-term role until September 2025 with the possibility of extension, depending on funding.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Hayley Shaw, Research Culture Manager, at hs2731@bath.ac.uk.
