With a brilliant local reputation, Hull Vets for Pets has much to be proud of and we are now looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team to take the practice to the next level.
About us
Our surgery is purpose built complete with high quality facilities and equipment allowing excellent clinical care to be achieved. You’ll be joining a team of 24 which hold various levels of experience and interests but remain a close-knit team with a shared commitment to support each other’s well-being.
About the role
This is a full-time role, 39 hours per week, which will be spread over 4 - 5 days Monday-Friday, and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings to keep it fair for everyone and ensure you get that well earned and needed downtime.
By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential by admitting and discharging patients, monitoring anaesthetics, monitoring recovery and nursing care of in-patients, running nurse clinics, taking radiographs and assisting with surgery and diagnosis tests.
What we’re looking for
Our nurses are veterinary professionals and as such we ensure that they are able to fulfil their clinical potential. You will perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients and will need to have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
