Our client is a major manufacturer of products for the construction sector with numerous sites across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Quality Inspector for their operation in Melton Mowbray.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, your role will be to work closely with Production and Despatch teams to ensure our client's products meet the required Quality Standards.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
1. Work closely with production teams in quality management processes and drive a continuous improvement culture.
2. Inspect products at all stages of production in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan.
3. Identify defects, nonconformance, and opportunities for improvement within the production processes, assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
4. Participate in internal and external accrediting body audits.
Who would suit this role?
Ideal candidates will have previously worked within a Quality function in the manufacturing industry, producing products for the Construction, Civil Engineering, or Ground Works sectors. You should have an eye for detail and be comfortable working as part of a team.
