Main purpose of the role
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Layout Manager to join us in this key role within our East Midlands region, based from our office near Nottingham with agile/hybrid working. Reporting to the Head of Technical; the successful candidate will be accountable for managing and coordinating the delivery of all layouts related matters from Land Bid Identification through to site mobilisation.
The Layout Manager will collaborate with both other departments internally and external stakeholders on technical matters, providing design support to the Land and Pre-Development team to assist during land feasibility work through to planning consent. They will manage, coordinate and produce site layouts ensuring consideration towards areas such as plot profitability, site coverage and sales mix, to understand the needs from a commercial, construction and sales perspective.

Skills, knowledge & experience
We are looking for an established Layout Manager who embodies our Keepmoat values; a straightforward and skilled communicator, who is creative and experienced with generating new ideas within architectural and engineering functions. They will be passionate about the construction/development industry with strong experience within it. The postholder will be an established collaborative individual with the ability to build strong relationships through ability to work cross functionally to achieve successful outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years knowledge of the construction/development industry. They will have up to date knowledge of building legislation, sound knowledge of the architectural and engineering functions, along with understanding and working knowledge of planning issues and processes relevant to the role. They will possess either a degree in planning, or post graduate qualification with eligibility for Royal Town Planning Institute membership.
