This role will lead on the Ecommerce strategy across the three Luxury titles, ensuring the content plans are aligned to the wider brand plans. This role will be responsible for delivering editorial and commercial content across Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, and ELLE. ABOUT THE ROLE Set out and execute the ecommerce content strategies for the luxury portfolio, working with brand teams to ensure all content is executed to deadline. Produce and edit high-quality fashion, beauty, and lifestyle ecommerce content for the three Hearst luxury titles. Edit and publish content from the Senior Ecommerce Editor, Fashion & Beauty, as well as the brand writers and editors. Coordinate tentpole shopping event coverage – Black Friday, Amazon Prime Day, etc – as well as other seasonal, trend and news-inspired shopping opportunities. Work with the SEO team to create and build our core ecommerce verticals for each brand, identifying content gaps and opportunities for growth. Work with the luxury social, newsletter and video leads to grow ecommerce revenue across all audience channels. Ensure ecommerce commercial opportunities for the luxury portfolio are executed to deadline. Represent the luxury portfolio at external PR events to ensure knowledge of future and current product releases relevant to the brands. ABOUT YOU Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging, accurate and original content at pace and to deadline. Experience editing and writing on luxury titles Strong understanding of Ecommerce and Affiliates and how that fits into goals of Hearst’s Luxury titles. In-depth knowledge of the luxury, fashion, and beauty industries. Proven experience creating and executing content plans. Experience with hands-on product testing and creating original imagery and videos is desirable. Good knowledge of SEO best practice. A strategic mindset with the ability to use analytical tools to implement improvements. Strong knowledge of consumer shopping trends and the digital landscape. Experience working with PRs to get the inside scoop on new product launches. Experience using content management systems. Experience using Photoshop.
