Due to increased global growth, our client is seeking a Freight Forwarder to be part of their Customer Services & Freight Forwarding team. As the successful candidate, you will be assisting the head of customer services in the execution of their duties & responsibilities, which include:
* Maintain the operations system ensuring customer bookings are accurately recorded
* create new and maintain current SOP's for the department
* Maintain key accounts
* Update the CRM ensuring spot quotations are entered on to the system
* Ensure customer due diligence checks are completed
* Confirm quotations
* Booking consignments with third party contractors
Ideally you will have a strong understanding of logistics processes and procedures together with excellent IT skills including Excel reporting.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
