Project Management Assistant Based: Warton Contract: 6 Months £30.43 Paye or £39.56 Umbrella inside IR35 Onsite – 2/3 days BAE Systems is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will support the governance, procedures, and policies essential to the successful execution of projects Experience: Strong administration and general office skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. A passion for project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to resolve basic and routine problems with minimal supervision. The Job: Assist with project reporting and scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate updates. Resolve basic and routine queries related to project tasks and administration. Develop knowledge of business processes and project procedures. Perform general office administration tasks including working with spreadsheets, Microsoft packages, and Microsoft Project plans. Maintain records, ensuring that documentation is prepared, updated, and filed appropriately. Ensure alignment with i35 & S&S ways of working. Support SHE & Security processes. Assist with 3rd party onboarding processes. Contribute to reporting and general administrative support for the project management team.
