We have a fantastic opportunity for three Field Engineers to join our Area 12 contract. This role is a field-based position. Travelling to other depots may be required and a company car is provided.
Collaborating closely with our client National Highways, Amey takes pride in delivering top-tier Maintenance and Response services, catering to the extensive network across Yorkshire and Humberside. Our responsibilities encompass all routine and cyclic maintenance operations on the trunk roads and motorways, covering an impressive expanse that includes 1,650km of motorway, 476km of dual carriageway trunk roads, 179km of single carriageway trunk roads, and 1,963 structures.
The standard hours of work are 45 hours per week on a days/nights rota. The shift pattern will consist of two weeks of days and two weeks of nights.
You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out cyclic and reactive maintenance to highways communications infrastructure.
* Providing support and assistance to the team in all relevant projects to meet client and Amey objectives.
* Carrying out cyclic maintenance in line with the Client, manufacturer and British Standards.
* Undertaking electronic diagnostic checks on highways communications assets in line with reactive maintenance.
* Preparation of reports and documents as necessary.
* Providing accurate advice to relevant parties on procedures.
* Assisting with project administration and control.
* Coordinating with third parties with the introduction of new Highways communications infrastructure.
