About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities, utilizing a variety of teaching resources and strategies.
* Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning and inform future instruction.
* Contribute to the development of the mathematics curriculum, share best practices with colleagues, and participate actively in departmental meetings and initiatives.
* Offer support and guidance to students through extracurricular mathematics clubs, tutoring sessions, or intervention programs as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
* A strong and up-to-date understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum and effective, research-based teaching methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive and productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* A genuine passion for mathematics and a demonstrated ability to make the subject accessible, engaging, and relevant for all learners, regardless of their prior attainment or background.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
