We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Manager to join our team.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, delivering initial and ongoing training for the care team, and ensuring the highest-quality care for our customers. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for providing exceptional care.
The role will require you to:
1. Co-ordinate and follow up all referrals, ensuring assessments are conducted in a timely manner.
2. Ensure via the assessment process that risk is enabled while managed safely for the organization, care assistants, and customers.
3. Ensure that care and support plans are person-directed.
4. Ensure reviews are conducted at regular intervals as required by the customer’s service package and in line with regulatory requirements.
5. Ensure the service is fully CQC compliant at all times.
6. Ensure the service meets all contractual requirements.
7. Identify and co-ordinate staff rotas to ensure appropriately skilled and trained staff are deployed efficiently to meet service user needs.
8. Manage all employee relations, complaints, and concerns.
9. Identify and secure new business in order to grow the service.
10. Deliver and schedule initial and ongoing training to the care team in line with our company policies.
11. Organize and coordinate all recruitment activity of care assistants.
12. Deal with all escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.
13. Conduct supervisions and appraisals.
14. Address all underperforming team members and create performance improvement plans to help resolve any current issues.
15. Be familiar with and apply any relevant legislation.
The successful applicant must be a driver and have use of their own vehicle, must have previous experience in managing a domiciliary care service, and be confident they can grow the service.
Communication and financial awareness skills are critical to this role, as well as a detailed understanding of health and wellbeing.
The successful candidate must possess a recognized qualification (NVQ4, RMA, and level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care).
