We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent customer service skills to work in our busy and challenging Customer Services Department. The successful candidate will provide a high-quality information and advice service to all customers, including enquiries, service requests and complaints relating to all aspects of the Council’s services.

Our dedicated Customer Service Team offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering high quality services by engaging with our residents, partners and staff. Customer Advisors act as customer advocates, all Advisors are trained to be multi skilled in all areas of service delivery regardless of customer touch point (Telephone, Live Chat, Email, Face to face etc.) providing generic transactional services by utilising their knowledge and processing.
To be successful you will need:
1. A good standard of education through qualification (e.g. GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent)
2. To be passionate about Customer Service and have a strong customer focus
3. To have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with complaints and sensitive issues
4. A willingness to train, develop new skills, welcoming the opportunity to be at the forefront of change and improvements
5. To possess good ICT skills and ability to adapt to new technologies
6. To be able to work within a team environment
