Scientific Administrator Pertemps are actively looking for a Scientific Administrator to join a busy client based in Reading! As a Scientific Administrator, you will be responsible for:
* Ensure samples are logged into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure the efficient throughput of samples in CSA from receipt to laboratory.
* Sub-sample multi-lab project samples, strictly adhering to all requirements of QSOP-149.
* Liaise with customers to ensure correct information is available. Ensure customer satisfaction by acting as an interface with customers and deliver excellent customer service
* Ensure consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work and look to identify improvements.
* Develop good working relationships with RSSL colleagues particularly in the laboratories and customer services.
* Work as part of the CSA team to high standards of safety and quality.
* Collaborate with Operational Teams to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
* Able to work under pressure and adapt to meet an ever-changing customer environment.

* Work as part of an efficient team
* Liaise with clients, commercial, site administration teams and line management to ensure effective communication.
* Work to the highest standards of safety and quality by ensuring that appropriate COSHHs, risk assessments and SOPs are understood and followed.
* Complete assigned quality actions on a timely manner
* Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Understand and work to the requirements of GMP and UKAS or Home Office regulations as required.
* Ensure training records are up to date and accurate.

* Computer literate in standard MS office applications
* Administrative working experience
* Experience of working in a regulated environment
