We are seeking a conscientious and experienced chef to join our friendly kitchen team. Our hotel is a four-star establishment with 41 bedrooms located in the centre of York. Our Brasserie serves good quality, home-cooked food at a reasonable price point. Our style of cooking is British with some continental influences. We typically open for dinner service each evening from 5pm until 9.30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to a consistent standard
* Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Working effectively as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines and food safety regulations
The successful applicant will have experience at a chef de partie level or be a commis chef ready to progress. The position is permanent and for 40 hours per week, typically consisting of five shifts from 2.30pm until 10.30pm.
