The Role:
We are excited to be recruiting to a significant post within New City College due to the current post holder’s retirement. The Group Director: Student Support plays a vital role in developing and supporting an exceptional learner journey for around 20,000 students each year across the college's 10 campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
* To be responsible for and accountable for the highest possible standard of these services, engaging with and reporting regularly to the Senior Management Team.
* To direct and manage teams and activity within your area of responsibility.
* To lead teams, resources and processes of student support services to include careers education, information, advice & guidance; student welfare and financial support; mental health and counselling services and campus administration.
* To deputise for the Group Executive Director: Communications & Student Support.
Who You Are:
Naturally, you will have experience of managing teams and support services in a large, complex education organisation with responsibility for significant budgets and resources.
With superb leadership skills and solid experience in a similar student support focused role, you will lead teams, resources and processes to provide highest quality careers education, information, advice & guidance; student welfare and financial support; mental health and counselling services. Your directorate also includes the crucial campus administrators across the college.
