We're looking for a proactive and ambitious Bid Manager who is eager to develop into a central role within our growing company. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional looking to lead the bid response process for a digital services specialist in the Public Sector.
The successful candidate will leverage their bid management expertise to coordinate and deliver successful tenders for government and public sector clients.
They will play a key role in refining our bid strategy, enhancing our proposal processes, and ensuring our submissions stand out in a competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Bid Leadership: Manage multiple RFP/RFI processes within a complex software and services environment.
* Process Development: Establish and implement a repeatable and scalable bid response framework.
* Bid Content & Collateral: Maintain a central repository of bid assets, crafting compelling content and ensuring consistent messaging.
* Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with product, marketing, and technical teams to shape core messaging and develop reusable bid materials.
* Qualification & Decision-Making: Facilitate a structured approach to bid response qualification, ensuring focus on the right opportunities.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Drive collaboration with internal teams and senior stakeholders to secure timely contributions and approvals.
* Client Engagement: Participate in client Q&A sessions and ensure alignment with their needs.
* Continuous Improvement: Analyse win/loss outcomes and refine our bid strategies accordingly.
* Commercial Frameworks: Support new commercial framework registrations and identify new bid opportunities in collaboration with the wider team.
Required Skills / Experience:
* Previous experience working in a Bid Manager capacity within a professional services / enterprise software environment.
* Worked on winning bids in the last 18 months.
* Editorial skills and experience collating large RFP responses from multiple contributors / teams (legal, sales, marketing, product).
* Project management skills, ideally supported by a formal project management methodology / framework / certification (e.g. Prince or PMI).
* Knowledge of Government and Public Sector is very desirable.
* Appreciation for the enterprise software and services sales cycle.
* Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills, able to manage competing demands.

Hybrid working - candidates must be able to travel to Digi2al's office in central London at least once a week. Also willing to travel to client site if required (occasional).
Salary: £40-60k depending on experience.
Bonus: Up to 5% of base salary.
Pension: 5% matched.
Holiday: 25 days a year, increasing each year up to 30 days.
