You'll play a vital part in managing equipment and resources. Your day will be filled with diverse and exciting tasks like issuing and receiving equipment, maintaining supplies, and supporting Combat Engineers during busy times. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team, learn new skills, and tackle a variety of hands-on tasks. Day-to-day, you'll assist with the day to day running of all resources equipment and stores to include issues, receipts, husbandry, and replenishment. Handle the issuing, receiving, replenishing, and organizing of equipment and supplies, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up to date. Report shortages, discrepancies, and any issues affecting training or operations to the Resource Supervisor. Support training exercises by serving as sentries, safety boat operators (training provided), and deploying with the Royal Engineer Troop Commanders Course (RETCC) for up to seven days. Perform seasonal site maintenance, assist with authority-led projects, and maintain training areas to meet contractual obligations. Provide Lone Worker support, conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), perform Fire Warden duties, and complete all required training as directed by Line Management. This role is full time 37 hours per week and is based on site at Minley. Essential experience of the Combat Support Operative Able to read and understand detailed instructions and maps. Able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Experience in a customer service role. Able to swim.
