SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
We require a fit, active and resourceful professional to work with young people with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties. The work will require working on a rota basis and split shifts. Position starts a.s.a.p.
Muntham House School is a residential special school based in rural West Sussex, specialising in the care and education of boys aged 5 – 19 who have an Education Health and Care Plan. Pupils have a range of needs, from Autistic spectrum conditions to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), so every day is different.
Our residential care team provides a safe and nurturing environment with a culture of unconditional positive regard to support our residential pupils to feel safe and achieve their best, forming friendships and learning the social and moral skills to thrive in our and their communities.

What we need from you:
To work Monday to Friday on a split shift pattern 42 hours a week:
* Join in with the activities
* Be Caring, Nurturing and Professional
* Hold an NVQ L3 or be willing to work towards
* Key work a group of pupils
* Complete daily/weekly/annual paperwork to high professional standards
* Hold safe boundaries that provide emotional containment
* Have the desire to work with children who have attachment difficulties and who have experienced trauma
* Be a positive role model who can demonstrate good morals and notice the little things
* Be an emotionally available adult
