Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will champion customer engagement to ensure you deliver a first-class customer experience. You will have many responsibilities, including:
1. Interacting with customers to provide information in response to enquiries about products and services and to meet and exceed customer requirements.
2. Being the initial internal contact for supporting dedicated accounts throughout their customer journey.
The core working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8.15am-5.15pm with an earlier finish on a Friday.

Typical accountabilities include but are not limited to:
1. Receiving and processing of sales orders, credits and returns and filing of documentation for compliance.
2. Liaising with customers regarding production, logistical and supply functions.
3. Supporting area sales managers in respect of their customer care journey.
4. Supporting the sales function with customer-centric projects.
5. Handling incoming calls and general enquiries and central inbox management.
6. Product knowledge development and raising of item requests when required.
7. Import/export shipment transactions/processing.
8. Liaising with internal customers and stakeholders when required to obtain or provide customer-related information.
Requirements:
Proven experience of direct sales and customer service delivery is essential.
Minimum 5 years within a B2B customer service environment, ideally within a logistics or manufacturing company.
Competent in full range of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience of working in an ERP and/or SOP business system.
CRM and CDP experience would be an advantage.
Essential – 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
Desirable – Education to at least NVQ III or equivalent in Business Administration or Customer Services.
