We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Accountant to join us on a fixed term contract until July 2025!
Due to an exciting period of Business growth we are looking a talented Project Accountant whowillsupport the financial workstream of the safe transfer of services for a go-liveon 1 April 2025.
You will report to the Senior Finance Business Partner to assistin thesuccessful delivery of financial and commercial aspects of our new Bath and North Somerset, Wiltshire & Swindon (BSW) contract which provides adult and childrens community health care services to the population of BSW.
This full-time role offers a hybrid working model, with a mix of homeworking and working at St Martin's Hospital, Bath
This role requires a driving license and access to a car for work purposes
Main duties of the job
As Project Accountant you will:
1. Record, forecastand reportmobilisationcosts
2. Provide support to Due Diligence process, including analysis, interpretation and reporting of information.
3. Identifyand mitigatefinancial risks.
4. Supportthe build of cost-centre structures and reportand approvehierarchy.
5. Leadon budget build taking account of findings from due diligence.
6. Supportprocesses for cutover asset transfer, suppliers, customers, property, treasury
7. Supportwith costings for sub-contracts and service level agreements revenue and expenditure.
8. Supportwith implementing key control processes and training of systems eg Proactis, our ordering platform.

The ideal candidate for this role will:
Be minimum AAT qualified with extensive experience in a similar role Experience of projects Advanced Microsoft Excel user Fully IT literate, able to adopt new systems with ease Driving license and access to car Positive attitude and ability to work in a team Ability to prioritise and work under pressure of tight deadlines NHS/Care sector experience
