Are you a motivated and friendly IT professional looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic IT team as a Field Service Technician and make an impact across the UK! This role, based in Leicester, offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where you'll play a crucial part in IT support and infrastructure setup.
What You'll Do:
1. Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support both remotely and on-site.
2. Travel to multiple UK sites to set up IT infrastructure for new locations.
3. Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking equipment at existing sites.
4. Collaborate with the helpdesk to resolve support tickets and provide telephone and remote assistance.
5. Perform user administration tasks and assist with network support and maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
1. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels.
2. Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
3. Analytical skills to solve technical issues effectively.
Hands-on experience with:
1. Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems.
2. Basic understanding of Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, and domain-based networks.
3. Helpdesk ticketing systems and common software applications like Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
1. Previous experience in a similar role (training provided if you're the right candidate!).
2. Networking certifications (CompTIA N+, CCENT, CCNA) are a plus, or a willingness to achieve these qualifications.
