HelloSelf.com is a London based company; we provide high quality, effective and safe psychological therapy and coaching to help make Your Self Better, and Every Self Better. Therapy is provided online. Our video therapy platform lets our members connect with the UK’s best Therapists at a time and place that suits them. We are a group of motivated clinicians and developers with the same mission: to improve access to evidence based and efficacious psychological interventions using technology to enhance therapy delivery and outcomes.

We are a leading, clinically informed large practice made up of permanent staff and an associate network of therapists. Key Responsibilities
* Be registered with the appropriate professional/regulatory/accrediting body e.g. HCPC Registered Psychologist, BABCP, NMC or SWE.
* Have significant clinical experience and particular knowledge and expertise in safeguarding, risk and systemic working in partnership with allied professionals/agencies.
* Ideally have experience of child and adult safeguarding.
* Oversee HS’s safeguarding and risk framework including supporting robust safe recruitment; training (conduct skills gap analysis of network, company and develop innovative training); professional standards; ongoing support/information (e.g. resources and briefings) and facilitating peer supervision arrangements of our therapist network to quality assure safe practice.
* Be highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding complex clinical, risk and safeguarding work. They will fulfil their statutory duties and support others to do so. They will work in collaboration with partner allied agencies to best safeguard and work in line with HelloSelf’s mission and values.
* Oversee and contribute to the safeguarding consultation and serious incident rota and quickly respond to urgent issues.
* Oversee serious incident rapid review, action after meetings or Patient Serious Incident Framework investigation.
* Disseminate learning regarding safeguarding, risk and serious incidents to relevant professionals in the organisation, our partners and to our therapist network to best support them to ensure safe member and effective member care.
* Develop, share and improve relevant safeguarding risk and serious incident policies/procedures.
* Collaborate to develop and deliver innovative tech solutions to risk, safeguarding, serious incident and connected care issues.
* Oversee our in-house safeguarding and serious incident reporting system (MyConcerns) and support therapist’s use.
* Participate in appropriate professional networks, and disseminate NHS National Patient Safety Alerts and their own CPD.
* Support clinic-wide triage of referrals where there are risk and/or safeguarding concerns.
* Provide weekly updates at Clinical Excellence Team meetings.
* Provide monthly updates at Monthly Clinical and Information Governance Meetings.
* Oversee, lead and attend regular safeguarding supervision.
* Support the Clinical Excellence provision such as complaint investigations and rematching/case management for members with risk/safeguarding needs whose therapist needs to stop working in sudden circumstances.
* Support the Information Governance provision by providing expert consultation.
* Support wider clinic functioning as and when required as set out by the Chief Clinical Officer.
About You
* You will be conscientious; calm; measured; compassionate; supportive; agile; proportional in their decision making and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience of effectively discussing challenging issues.
