Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic experienced registered nurse to join the Central Norwich Neighbourhood as a Band 7 Clinical Lead Nurse. The successful candidate will provide professional and clinical leadership to staff working in the Central Norwich Neighbourhood and clinic-based services within the place portfolio. The successful candidate will support staff to achieve and ensure competencies are maintained in addition to ensuring that the Trust annual priorities and quality goals are embedded within the workforce. The service operates between 08:00 and 18:30, the post holder will be required to work shifts within these times including bank holidays and weekends. The role rotates through the Operational Hub, coordinating shifts at weekends as the Senior Nurse for Norwich Place. Main duties of the job Community nursing provides holistic patient centered care and nursing interventions to patients in their own homes, residential care and within nursing clinics within the Norwich Place portfolio, including catheter care, leg ulcer and wound care, diabetes and medicines management, and palliative and end of life care. Working alongside the Clinical Operations Manager and as part of the wider leadership team in Norwich Place, the post holder will provide professional and clinical leadership to a friendly, supportive team of registered nurses, nursing associates and healthcare assistants, supporting staff to achieve and maintain competencies, promoting and contributing to the delivery of high standards of care to patients within their own homes, care homes and clinics.
