Job summary Are you a physiotherapist with a passion for rehabilitation and empowering patients to achieve their optimal level of mobility and independence? Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Hospitals trust has a vacancy for a highly specialist physiotherapist to lead the amputee rehabilitation service. We provide rehabilitation to the residents of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin with lower limb loss, running clinics at both The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury hospital at all stages of their outpatient pathway. The post can be offered as a Band 7 development opportunity for the right candidate and we warmly welcome enquiries from interested individuals. Main duties of the job You will work alongside, and be supported by, a B5 physiotherapy apprentice and prosthetists and consultants in rehabilitation medicine from the Maltings Mobility Centre, Wolverhampton, and the Haywood Mobility Centre in Stoke. You will deliver high quality rehabilitation to patients, and help develop the knowledge and skills of the other members of the team. Working closely with the therapy operational manager and team managers you will deliver our service level agreements and develop our strategy.
