Harris Hill is partnering with the Royal Free Charity, an ambitious hospital charity with a vision that everyone served by the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has access to world-leading healthcare, delivered by a thriving workforce, and driven by medical research that has a global impact.
Their dynamic fundraising team generated £4.5 million through donations in 2023/2024, and they are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital. They are now seeking a proactive, experienced, and hands-on individual to join the team as a Fundraising & Engagement Officer- Chase Farm Hospital on a permanent basis.

Role: Fundraising & Engagement Officer- Chase Farm
Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in the office (EN2)
Salary: £30,0000 per annum plus benefits
Contract: Full time or par-time considered, permanent
Amongst other criteria, the successful candidate will have:
1. Experience of working in a fundraising environment (desirable)
2. Experience of working in a customer focused environment (desirable)
3. Experience of relationship development (desirable)
4. Strong IT skills, proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
5. Excellent numeracy, literacy and administrative skills
6. Confident working autonomously and taking initiative to achieve results
7. Able to adopt a proactive approach to working
8. Ability to build and maintain relationships cross-departmentally and with external suppliers
9. Ability to work methodically with excellent attention to detail
10. Able to deal with sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
11. Ability to take ownership of tracking and evaluating progress and actively working towards KPIs
12. Effective negotiation skills
13. Ability to problem-solve, make recommendations, and implement solutions
14. The ability to manage and juggle a large workload whilst maintaining an excellent service level to internal & external stakeholders
