Your new role
This role involves planning, executing, and following up on audit assignments across various European locations, producing value-added ESG reviews and supporting the company's ESG efforts. You will be working directly with the Head of Audit to prepare quarterly Audit Committee reports, involving liaison with senior stakeholders such as Board members and senior managers/directors. Starting in January 2025.
What you'll need to succeed
* 5-7 years post-qualification (CA, ACA or ACCA)
* Additional Internal Audit qualification (i.e. CIA or IIA) preferred
* Advanced degrees such as MBAs are advantageous.
* Big 4 accountancy firm background
* Experience in multinational companies (ideally commodities, FMCG, manufacturing, Retail etc)
* Good understanding of risk management practices
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Technological skills: Experience with ERP (i.e. Oracle or SAP) and ability to leverage technology
* Excellent communication skills
* Requires a self-motivated, independent individual with strong soft skills and a collaborative approach.
* Open to travel: 20-30% European, driven by the audit plan
