If you have worked for a large charity organisation, then this would also be acceptable. The role is to deliver the procurement and contract management strategy, driving best value. Ensuring fair and compliant procurement for their social values. Requires a high degree of persuasive skills, decision making, identifying opportunities for corporate frameworks, and dealing with organisation wide-contracts. You will lead, motivate and manage staff to deliver high quality flexible and responsive service for the internal customers and suppliers. Ensure effective budget monitoring, centralised buying, budgets are in place and fully compliant. Skills and Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience Significant experience in procurement and contract management Experience with Stakeholder involvement
